


The characters turned out to be typical – the characters are well written and the voice actors do their best, but it’s hard to name memorable images. Storytelling through static illustrations is in stark contrast to a fairly detailed world that looks inappropriately “budget”. But even the visual part is often reminiscent of a galaxy far, far away: desert landscapes, space battles and views of cities. Somewhere the game resembles (and even directly relates to) the Firefly series, and somewhere – Star Wars, especially with its motley criminal environment. As you can see, Everspace 2’s storyline incorporated many recognizable genre themes and elements. There was a place in history for a corporation that strangles ordinary hard workers and for thriving criminal organizations of all stripes and vestiges of an ancient space civilization. Yes, and you’ll work up a sweat: fight off bandits of all kinds, make friends with rather strange allies and, of course, do business with extremely unreliable personalities. Unless, of course, the deal the new partner is proposing works. But a sudden acquaintance with Dax, another outlaw, opens up new horizons for Adam, and now not only rescue a friend and freedom are on the agenda, but also a solid jackpot. canon spaceĮverspace 2 begins with a classic story arc: the protagonist, a clone named Adam, is stranded and wanted and his friend’s life is at stake. And the view here is simply breathtaking.
